Escape Xperience in Amersfoort

With Escape Xperience, Amersfoort’s historic city centre becomes the setting for your outdoor escape room. As you solve your way through the city, you pass places such as the Koppelpoort, Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren, Muurhuizen and Hofje de Armen de Poth. You can choose between two very different Xperiences. In the Hidden Coins, you travel back to 1672 and help painter Matthias Withoos find hidden coins before the French enter the city. Prefer a more modern mystery? In Legends and Folk Tales, you follow the notebook of a murdered scientist towards a new source of sustainable energy. Both Xperiences have their own story, mission and puzzles. And you will need more than just the app: paying close attention to the city around you helps you unravel the clues. Along the way, you discover both familiar and easily overlooked sides of Amersfoort.
