The Mystery of Hieronymus Bosch begins in 1517, shortly after the death of the famous Den Bosch painter Jheronimus Bosch. His widow Aleid discovers that his most famous paintings have been stolen. Worse still, the thief plans to burn them. Bosch’s works are filled with hidden meanings and mysteries — and those details contain the clues you need to identify the thief and recover the paintings.
With the app as your guide, you investigate independently through the city centre of Den Bosch. As the story unfolds, you solve riddles and puzzles together at different locations. The city is more than a backdrop: looking carefully at your surroundings, making connections and working together brings you ever closer to the missing paintings. The search combines the story of Bosch with discovering Den Bosch itself.
