The Forbidden Chapel is set in Valkenburg in 1798. French revolutionaries are pressuring residents to renounce the church by swearing an oath. Pastor Servatius refuses and risks imprisonment. Your mission is to help him go into hiding and build a secret, forbidden chapel where he can continue to practise his faith.
You make your own way through Valkenburg while the app guides you through the story and puzzles. The mission takes you past places including Kasteel Den Halder, the castle ruins, Geulpoort, Grendelpoort and the medieval city wall. At different locations, you solve riddles together and pay close attention to your surroundings to move forward. The historic places you encounter become part of your mission to help Servatius.
