De Redding van de Stad takes you to Zutphen in 1537. During an uprising against the Duke of Guelders, the city is occupied by unruly soldiers and faces the threat of destruction. Mayor Johan van Voorthuysen is trying to find a way to defuse the conflict. You help him by collecting clues and discovering how Zutphen can be saved.
As you explore Zutphen independently, the app leads you deeper into the mission. Along the way, you pass places including the Bourgonjetoren, Drogenapstoren, shell grotto, Agnietenhof, Walburgiskerk and the town hall. At these locations, riddles and puzzles appear, often requiring you to use the real surroundings. By solving them, you collect the clues needed to save the city while discovering Zutphen along the way.
