Escape Xperience - An outdoors Escape Room in Valkenburg (Limburg)

Escape Xperience now lets you discover the beautiful city of Valkenburg in a new, fun and interactive way. Onze Xperience is als een escape room, maar dan buiten in de stad! The app lets you walk through the city while solving puzzles and riddles. Each Xperience has an exciting storyline, where you help the protagonist escape or complete an urgent mission. Valkenburg aan de Geul is a town in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands, with a rich history. The first written mention of Valkenburg dates back to 1041, when the German king Hendrik III donated possessions in four villages, including Valkenburg. The city has a long history of sieges and conquests, including a siege by Duke John III of Brabant in 1327. In the 18th century, the land of Valkenburg was known as the area where the so-called billygoat riders were active. The Geul valley around Valkenburg has seen intensive human habitation since the earliest times and has a lot of historical heritage. During our Escape Xperience, you will pass St Nicolas and Barbara church, Den Haldar castle, the castle ruins, the Geulpoort, the Grendelpoort and the medieval city wall, among others.
