Escape Xperience - An outdoors Escape Room in Deventer
With Escape Xperience, you will experience the city of Deventer in a new, fun and interactive way. Our Xperience is like an escape room, but outside in the city! The app lets you walk through the city while solving puzzles and riddles. Each Xperience has an exciting storyline, where you help the protagonist escape or complete an urgent mission. It is a self-guided tour, so you can start whenever you are ready. At the bottom of this page you will find more information about the games we offer in Deventer.
Deventer is one of the older cities in the Netherlands. The first mention of the city was found in a charter from 977, which spoke of Daventre portu - the harbour of Deventer.Deventer's features include the oldest stone house of the Netherlands (the Proosdij), the oldest walking park (the Worpplantsoen) and also the oldest scientific library in the Netherlands: the Athenaeum Library.
During our Escape Xperience, you will pass the Lebuinuskerk, the Bergkerk and the Waag, among others.

Deventer - het Verraad van Deventer
During this Xperience, you will experience Deventer in the year 1672. Deventer is attacked by a French and German army led by the Bishop of Munster. The mayor and his brothers who sit on the city council will have to make crucial decisions. There are clues in the city centre that are going to help them. Will you manage to help the brothers prevent the city from being destroyed?
This Xperience will lead you past 20 locations: city attractions and lesser-known spots.
